Nature loves courage.
You make the commitment, and nature will respond to that commitment, by removing impossible obstacles.
Dream the impossible dream, and the world will not grind you under.
It will lift you up.
This is the trick, this is what all the teachers and philosophers really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood.
This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall, this is how magic gets done.
It’s done by hurling yourself into the abyss,
And discovering it’s a feather bed.
-Terence McKenna-
For far too long, I’ve been very reluctant to move forward with my life plans. I’ve always felt like there were too many obstacles in the way, that it would be impossible for me to achieve. But recently as I tried to work hard towards my goals, I noticed that the seemingly insurmountable problems are getting solved one by one! The things I have to face I imagined to be terrifying. But as I got through it, I discovered that it’s not that scary after all. There’s supportive people who are willing to help, there are doors you can open. So I really like the ending of this quote, take that leap and you’ll discover that it won’t be as bad as you imagined. This is not to say that you should just do things mindlessly and just hope that a miracle will happen. But with lots of hard work and determination to reach your goal, you’re already most of the way there.
