In a world where there are 7 billion unique human beings, it’s unavoidable that at some point in our lives, we start to question our own personal importance in scale to everything that is happening in the world.

“Who am I?”

The question that everyone has asked themselves, and still remains unanswered for most of us. This question will take a lifetime of searching to answer.

Our limitless exposure to social media hasn’t helped much either, everyday we see other people seemingly successful and happy with their lives, looking as if they’ve had it all figured out (even though in reality it’s not really the case). This can bring down people like us who are still searching for a place to belong, seemingly failing at stages that some people breezed through easily.

And it doesn’t help that nobody cares for each other. Have you ever walked down a busy street, and noticed the hundreds of people droning on to their next routine with a blank expression on their faces. You sometimes forget that every one of them has their own lives and experiences, and are important to this world in some way.

I think it’s important not to lose touch with what makes us human in the first place, the ability to care and help for others out of the goodness of our own hearts.

Life is not a race, do not look to others and compare them to your own journey, since everyone is walking on their own path.
