we all have watched some old war-related movies like Red Cliff 1&2, Three Kingdoms, Seven Samurai, Braveheart, Troy, 300, and many more. what about war with guns like Saving Private Ryan, Dunkirk, 1917, Midway, Pearl Harbour, and more world war films. how about recent wars or accidents like Black Hawk Down, 13 Hours, American Sniper, The Outpost, 12 Strong, and more. i have one question what is the difference between all of those wars, in the era where we still use bows and arrows with the sound of crashing steel and blades slashing through people. the fear people need to experience is they're facing someone in close-range combat or fearing a random arrow hitting you and how do you win a war like this, well the quick and most optimal answer is having more soldiers and willpower than the enemy but having more men won't ensure victory.
in a war like that we need people who can lead the battle or strategize the battle lets take the example of the Three Kingdoms there is a lot of famous icon in that battle Xiao Zilong, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Cao Cao, Sun Jian, Dong Zhuo, and more the people in that war has a lot of skill, will power, diplomatic power, fear, and many more traits. and i highly suggest you read about the Three Kingdoms. what about world war 1&2, we can see that there is a sudden technological spike from the past wars. let's talk about WW1, WW1 is a four-year war that lasted from 28 July 1914 to 11 November 1918 and it involved Europe, Russia, USA, and Turkey. it all started with one accident which is The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria done by Gavrilo Princip on 28 June 1914, and continue into the July Crisis that involved the German entering WW1 to support Astro-Hungarian on war and continued by Astro-Hungarian entering WW1 and in response to that Russia Step in to Intervene.
Serbia started the attack at Cer and Kolubara followed by German Offensive in Belgium and France, 260.000 France soldiers died in the first month including the Battle of The Frontiers where 27.000 people died on 22 August and followed by First Battle of the Marne from 5-12 September. then the real war Begin which is the Trench Warfare
Wow, you certainly know a lot about warfare. What is your thoughts on the Russian - Ukrainian war that is going on?
thank you soo much ka,
I think what Russia did was a defense movement fearing that Ukraine might join nato and build a FOB (Forward Operating Base) but the way Russia deal with this problem is by green lighting a special operation to enter Ukraine or "invading".
Yup it was a terrible move. I guess the Russians felt they have been in cold war too long, well it is really cold already in Russia. A little war might warm them up a bit... or my guess is their missiles are closing in on their expiration date... (sorry for responding with a joke) I really can not understand people and conflicts...
