Nowadays, youngsters are more powerful than their previous generation. Technologies such as social media are one of the reasons. Social media helps young people to learn from others, unite people around the globe, and can affect people’s mindsets easily. This can be seen that the youngsters get information faster than the older people. 

Usually, the older generation uses television or newspapers to know what's happening around them, but now these young people can get information from anywhere about the world. Getting a job back then was quite hard, but now people can get a job easily by looking through the internet. There are various types of new jobs such as social media influencer, streamer, and Youtuber. This helps the new generation to get jobs easier. With the help of this technology, it helps people to influence others easily by just commenting or making a post on social media. This is happening around the world and it could be powerful to change things around them. For example, there is a donation website where people around the world can donate to each other. Another example is youngsters can change other people's even government mindset by just posting something on social media. This shows how powerful the young generation is than any previous generation.

On the other hand, this could impact the relationship between older and younger people. Older people usually don’t want to learn about new technologies because, for them, it is useless. This creates a huge gap between older and younger people. The older generation is on a different page from the younger people because of their different mindsets. This makes the old and young generation don't seem to bond together. Nevertheless, some older generations are willing to learn about technology, but it is hard for the youngsters to teach them and sometimes the youngsters are disrespecting them. By learning the technology, actually helps both generations to connect with each other. The covid-19 pandemic teaches us that technology can help to create or maintain a relationship between old and young people.

In conclusion, younger people are more powerful and influential than the older generation. But this is not a reason for us to disrespect older people. We should maintain a good relationship with the older generation.
