Few people have truly changed our perspective on the Universe we live in, one of them was Stephen Hawking.

A Scientist in every meaning of the word; curious, intelligent, and tenacious. His lifetime’s work in physics made us understand more how the Universe functions.

“Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.”

He did this all despite having an illness which is infamous for killing most people in a short amount of time. When he was diagnosed with Motor Neuron disease, he was given 2 years to live. But defying all expectations, he kept going for the next 55 years.

“I’m not afraid of death, but I’m in no hurry to die. I have so much I want to do first.”

Confined to his wheelchair, he sent his mind exploring among the stars.

He did more for us in his lifetime than thousands of us combined, he opened our eyes to new possibilities, and became an inspiration for all of us.

 Thank you, Stephen Hawking. Your legacy will live on.
